Vatican Is Closed On June 29th...Now What?

Recommended Posts

We just got an email from Stefano from Romecabs that the Vatican will be closed on June 29th. We have a full day planned with him and will get to do everything else except the Vatican. He suggested we see it on the Thursday that we arrive. I don't know about the rest of my group, but it seems that it would be better to go on a day when we are more rested. We get off the Freedom on July 11th and don't fly back home until the 14th. So far we don't have anything else booked or planned for our two days in Rome after the cruise. Would it be better to go on Thursday or Friday, or does it make a difference?

I don't see it being a big difference going Thursday or Friday. You are smart to do this after the cruise as opposed the day you all fly in when you will be jet lagged. There is so much to see there so it's best to see it when you are rested.
