JFK Threat

I am flying into JFK in New York City in just 12 days. I just heard about the bomb threat, and I am wondering about extra security measures. I can't afford to be late coming back because my flight is at 8:30 on a Sunday. I do not want to miss my flight, so I need to know if JFK is going to have extra security. thank you.

Note that the alternate way to get fuel to the airport is by Barge(I am pretty sure that is how they get it to LGA)....

 

1. it wasn't imminent

2. it wasn't technically feasible(how they know this I don't know and given our government track record on terrorist capability I personally don't buy that one)

2 hours for domestic 3 for international.....if you want to be really sure...

I'll be flying into JFK in 8 hours this will be my 2nd. time on a airplane. I'm alittle worry about flying. Just thankful that they caught them.

I would not worry about this - they nipped this in the planning stages. There is a ton of security at JFK.

 

You should be at the airport 2 hours before your flight leaves if it is domestic, 3 hours if international.
