jamesnnb Posted June 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2007 We understand Princess gives you a coupon book upon boarding. Does anyone know what's inside (free drinks?) and if they differer depending on your Circle Club status?
tequilasunrise Posted June 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2007 I don't think they differ, seems standard. It's for things like $10 off their $40 video of the cruise, a free visor with $100 purchase in the shops, etc. We used the video coupon, but most of them went to waste as they were small amounts off large purchases. No free drink coupons (darn!) or free anything if you didn't buy first. For every coupon you used you were entered to win a crystal ship miniature. margord Posted June 12, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 12, 2007 Not much of a coupon book. RCCL on the other had gives there returning passengers a coupon book with things like the free drink.
Toto2Kansas Posted June 12, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 12, 2007 Most of the coupons in the 'so called' coupon book are '2 fers' buy this get this free, or %%%% off a purchase. Nothing very exciting, we usually just pitch ours in the trash can.
JPO Posted June 12, 2007 #5 Share Posted June 12, 2007 Only one we used was the coupon for an extra bingo card good for the jackpot round.
donna5 Posted June 13, 2007 #6 Share Posted June 13, 2007 You don't always get the coupon book. Only if it was offered in the promo when you book. There is a passport to savings booklet they put in your room, or you can get one at the pursers office. Most of those are for purchasing things at the shops on ship and include coupons to fill out when you purchase so much to get entered for a crystal minature of the ship. jamesnnb Posted June 13, 2007 Author #7 Share Posted June 13, 2007 Thanks, everyone. At least now we know. Guess there's no such thing as a Free Drink...;)
donna5 Posted June 13, 2007 #8 Share Posted June 13, 2007 Thanks, everyone. At least now we know. Guess there's no such thing as a Free Drink...;) Well not exactly, the Welcome party you get a free drink or two, and on Champagne waterfall evening, free champagne, Art auction has free champagne. Play the newlywed and not so newlywed game and win a bottle champagne. Martini or cocktail demo(don't be shy), make sure you answer questions or volunteer. (But inreality nothing is free, just included)
