Cruise Critic Party Galaxy September 3

I am beginning to doubt that we'll enough people for a Cruise Critic Connection party for the September 3 2007 sailing of the Galaxy from Civitavecchia

 

As oif today was only have 16 people signed up and hardly any activity on our Roll Card thread.

 

This trip mustn't have many people from here going on this trip.

And if you don't get enough, have your own party.

 

When I sail lines that don't throw a party for Cruise Critic members, we set up a place and time to meet with those on our roll calls and just do a get together on our own. If we do a sailaway gathering, we'll pick one of the outdoor bars. If we pick another time, we'll try for an inside lounge on the first day at sea, usually later in the morning. Just pick the place and time and get folks on your roll call to agree.

Tom,

We just got back from the 6/11 sailing. More people signed up for the party towards the end. By the time of the cruise, there were almost 60 people signed up. We were really looking forward to meeting everyone - but only 6 showed up! Celebrity reshceduled for our second sea day and only 5 showed! It was very disappointing as Celebrity had an officer there and had set up a lot of refeshments.

Since I posted this plaintive message we have had a mini-resurgance (sp?) on the Roll Call Board. At least that is good.

 

And, yes, even if it's not an official party we'll try to get together. (We are already booked for transportation and tours with several other people for smoe of the ports)

We should try to get a group together, even if it is "unofficial." We should advertise on our roll call - hopefully people will start checking it as we get closer. We seem to be among the few who still do.
