Hello Ship Lovers :)

I' m a great fan of the " Old " but " Wonderfull " s/s NORWAY ( s/s FRANCE ) ! Here 5 photos from my 4 differents cruises on board . I search everywhere of the web , photos from others cruisers . Why , because next month it' s perhaps : " the end " of this LINER :( The Most Beautiful outside ship " ever " build would be scrapped in Alang ( India ) Now , i have just my souvenirs & photos ... I have make others cruises on others ships , but the NORWAY is " my " Ship for Ever !!! The inside of this ship was a little " old " compared to the new cruises ships . But from the outside , all the new cruises ships are " UGLY " compared to here ;) A ship from a other generation !

Yes the s/s NORWAY is a Fantastic Ship , a Beautifull Ship ...

So if you have some photos ( from : 1980 - 2003 ) of one of your cruise in the Caribean ( or in Europe) of this Liner ... I say : " MERCI " ( thank you in French ;) ) .

Friendly Noel

Thank you for sharing those. She certainly was a grand dame. Poignant also that there is a view of one of the towers of the WTC is the next to last photo in the row.

You need to check out this link. Everything Norway, even a link to a site that will be auctioning off some of the Norway's artifacts.

It's so sad to know that this beautiful lady of the sea will be scrapped. I've never sailed on her but when she was in the same port as we were, I always admired her.

I would love to see any and all photos everyone has. Norway was my first cruise and at the time I had no idea I would love it so much I would be looking for any and all pictures. I believe I took only one of the exterior of the ship and it really didn't come out very well. :(

I'll have to see if I can find any of my photos. We took the Norway on our Honeymoon back in June of '96. Pics are not digital from way back then, so I'll have to look through the boxes or photo albums...
