Taxi or tour op to English Harbour, for diving/snorkeling?

I understand the best diving/snorkeling is in the south side. There are several dive ops at the Nelson Dockyard, English Harbour area.

 

Are van-taxis readily available from the dock? We have a party of 6 (3 couples), and we'd like to get to English Harbour right after docking. Any idea how much and how long it takes to get there?

 

Or are there some tours that go to the English Harbour area, that we can try to negotiate to give us a few hours there, then finish with an island tour for the remaining time.
