Ketchikan question

Still trying to finalize our shore excursions.
Which is better in Ketchikan: Totem Bight or Saxman Village?

Also, do we need to book the ship tour, or are there tours available once we're in Ketchikan?

You can see both with Sourdough tours?? If you are interested in the native culture this offers a good look. Either area is worth seeing in my opinion. You don't need to book in advance if you want one or the other, but I would book the combo in advance.

Thanks, budgetqueen. How different are the two sites? We will have two young adult children with us, and I'm not sure if they would stay interested unless the sites are quite different.

If we only do one, which would you recommend?

They are different. Split up from the adult children if not of interest?? Too much too good to experience. Determine your time frame then pick what fits best.
