Alan2504 Posted July 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2007 I wonder if someone would be kind enough to let me know the format and number of power points in a regular stateroom on the Westerdam. I'm from the UK so are the outlets in the US format? or a mix of US and EU? Just want to make sure I've got the right adaptors :) Thank you so much! CarolC Posted July 5, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 5, 2007 I can't answer specifically about the regualr stateroom but in our SC suite, there were both US and EU.
jtl513 Posted July 5, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 5, 2007 In our VA cabins (Westerdam and Noordam) I remember there was one 220v outlet above the desk that I used for my dual-voltage laptop adapter ... but I can't remember if it took multiple plug configurations or not. I believe it did. All other outlets were US 3-prong 110v. I suggest you bring a power strip if you have multiple devices to plug in, as there aren't many outlets as I recall. MB Cruiser Posted July 6, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 6, 2007 We were in a category H outside stateroom on Westerdam in June. There was a two socket 3-prong outlet on the vanity and one on the headboard of the bed. If there were others, I never found them. I took the advice of CC'ers and brought a small outlet strip with me. I was able to use my laptop and also charge several devices. It would have been challenging without the strip. Alan Alan You may have already resolved your query, however if not..... there are a few 2 pin - 240v sockets, like those used in France etc. (shaver plug style). Hope this helps and have a great trip, we loved the Westerdam.

Thank you ,I kinda guessed it might be like Celebrity ..really was looking for the "extra" option of the "european" socket so I can pack the appropriate adaptor.. WillieF Posted July 7, 2007 #8 Share Posted July 7, 2007 An extension cord is a good idea for your own hair dryer/curl iron - for cabin use only - does not work in the bathroom
