Has anyone bee to the PCC? We are thinking about doing a tour that includes it after we get off of the ship. We have 12 hours to kill before our flight and the tour we are looking at goes to Pearl Harbor and then to the USS Missouri with a stop at the PCC including a Luau before taking us to the airport.

If you do a search you will find many comments about the PCC. The main problem that you will have that it takes about 90 minutes to drive to the PCC (and 90 minutes to return), which may cause you timing problems. I would not plan on trying to do all you suggest in one day, especially before catching a flight home.

you mentioned that you can take a tour that includes the luau. The post cruise tour thru NCL that we had thought about taking includes the buffet, not the luau make sure that is what yours includes if that is what you want to do.

Also, we had heard great reviews about the night show there called Horizons. Since this show doesn't start until 7 pm or so, and the tour we'd take said we'd get to the airport by 8, we knew that it couldn't stay for that show. Our plane doesn't leave until 10:45 pm, but we have to be at the airport at least 2 hrs. earlier, so even if we did it on our own, we'd never make it.

That's why we opted to do this tour from our Hotel BEFORE the cruise. We arrive 2 days earlier and will do it on the first full day there so that we can go to the Luau and see the Horizons show. If you take this one, it gets back to the hotel at 10:30 pm.

We have been to the PCC, but were there for a week. To see it in full you need the intire day to be able to see both shows and tour the place. Well worth it. I agree with Disney, if you can come in sooner and spend an extra day, then you can do more.

The tour we are thinking about doing is thru NCL. It last 12 hours and starts at 8:00 and goes to Pearl Harbor but not the USS Missouri. NCL say this tour is for flights departing after 9:30 and our flight leaves at 10:15 pm. According to NCL's site it includes a farewell feast but it doesn't mention a luau.

This is the same tour I'm looking at.

Has anyone done it, comments!

Which cruise are you doing? Don't forget PCC is closed on Sundays.

I couldn't do the Grand Finale Tour which included PCC because we land on Sunday and it's closed on Sundays.

It was a long day. We left the ship about 8am and went to Pearl Harbor. We left Pearl Harbor about 12 noon. We ate lunch on the way to the PCC and got to there at 2pm. At 5 o'clock we went to a luau for dinner. We had to leave before it was over to get to the airport at 7:30 to catch a 10:15pm flight back to the east coast. Like I said, a very long day. We booked this thru NCL and easy fly for our luggage. It worked out very well for our large group.
