Silly Sail-Away Question

Somehow I cannot envision a Sail Away Party on an Alaskan cruise the likes of what we've had in the Caribbean icon_smile.gif Do they do anything at all?

Flintsone that is a good question. I really haven't gotten a great answer yet. Also if ship leaves at 9 pm what time is Muster drill? We leave on the Summit June 25,pre cruisetour,so I don't even know what time we will arrive in Seward.

I just keep having this mental image of 1,000 people on the lido deck...rum punches in their hands, 4 layers of clothing with a rain slicker, in 40 degree weather, all singing "Who Let The Dogs Out"!! Just doesn't seem the same. icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

We didn't eat at the BBQ, but the ribs looked good. There were also some sort of kabob, but I think they may have been tough as quite a few seemed to end up in the trash.
