getting to and from Miami port

does anyone know how easy it is (and cost too!) to get from South beach to the port. And then from the port to get to Fort Lauderdale.

From SoBe, take a taxi. To FL, you might want to reserve a shuttle or limo. Check your roll call. See if anyone is also returning to FL and you can share a private car fare.

when we were there this past june, from south beach to the port was easy. i forgot the name of the street or the bridge. but you can see the big bridge, once you cross over you see the port - on your left from south beach. another bridge is a toll bridge cost 1 dollar it lower not as tall as the other one. it open and close for the boats to pass by.

 

we just take 95 N to Fort Lauderdale

I seem to remember spending about $20 to take a taxi from the port to the middle of South Beach ... that may be high, though.
