Dining times on 11night GALAXY

Hi, I'm taking a large group on the Galaxy 11 night sailing on sept 3rd to Greece and Turkey. We are all booked on second dining. I've been asking Celebrity about dining time and so far I got 3 different times 8.15pm, 8.30pm and 9.00pm. Did anyone do this cruise in june or july and what is the actual dinning times for main and second seating. I trust these boards more than the cruise lines!

Celebrity here in Norway told me that in the Med second sitting at 9pm in order to accommodate the guests who are on first seating. (Med is very port intensive)

 

However I am also not a hundred percent sure.

Dinner times are 6:15 and 8:45

We just returned from the 23 July 11-night sailing. Main was 6:45 and Late 9:15. It's the latest late seating time we've ever had... we like eating late, but 9:15's pushing it for us when it takes 2 hours to complete the meal. We were usually done by 11 to 11:15, with production shows typically at 7:30.

 

The waitstaff was excellent.

We were also on the last cruise where dining was at 6:45 and 9:15. Way too late for us. Asst. Maiter"D said it was because the passengers from Spain are the majority of the late seaters this time of year. Times will go back to normal at the end of August.:rolleyes:
