Celebrity does not offer early debarkation for those carrying their own luggage. You are given a color coded tag the next to last night that determines when you will disembark. Piriority is given to handicapped, Captain's club elite, suites and concierge class, other qualifying captain's club members. Your placement in the order for debarkation is based on your flight time if any.

I don't know if being in Europe will make a difference but on all Celebrity cruises we have taken they allow what they call walk offs who keep their luggage and walk off as soon as the ship is cleared. We did this on our last cruise due to late arrival of the ship and possibly missing our plane. We were off before the first section was even taken down to the doors. Hope this helps. They don't advertise this option we found out by asking a lot of questions.

On our 6/18/07 Millennium cruise, she arrived in Barcelona at 5am also for debarkation. The two highest priority groups to get off the ship were asked to assemble at 6:35am to await for an announcement to proceed to the gangway. These two groups were:

1. (White) have a flight out of Barcelona Airport prior to 9:55am and have pre-booked transfers with Celebrity.

2. (Beige 1) have a flight out of Barcelona Airport prior to 11:20am.
