Denali shuttle - seat cushions

Ok, the ride is six to eight hours. The road is gravel- does that make for a rough ride? How are the seat cushions? Should riders bring a cushion of some sort?

That's an interesting question. It just might be worth it.

They are regular bench padded school bus seats. Never uncomfortable for me- but I am always way too preoccupied with the scenery. Be sure to have "small" backpacks, coolers etc- so that they fit overhead and not take up foot room.

Couple of things to keep in mind about the shuttle:

1. First 15 miles is paved. 66 miles long. Won't be just riding bus for 6-8 hours. Several planned stops. Stops for wildlife spottings.

2. Take plenty of snack items as well as lunch and water/soft drinks.
