Jessie123 Posted August 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2007 Has anyone ever sent a Bon Voyage gift for a NCL trip leaving from NYC? I was looking at the ones offered by NCL and to be frank really aren't interested. I don't like sparkling wine and would prefer to get a couple of bottles of something I"ll like. What company did you use? Were you charged the full cork fee? thanks so much.

snorklinbarb Posted August 11, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 11, 2007 Don't they also offer a bottle of red or white La Terre (non sparkling) with the fruit baskets? You might inquire about that. Also they're very good about exchanging bottles. We turned in the sparkly for dry white wine through our room steward.
Catamount71 Posted August 11, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2007 Also I think I saw you can order any bottle of the ships wine list in advance. Same people who do the bar setup.

The Bar setup is thru NCL. You can always order a bottle of wine from Room Service. Happy Cruising, Monty
Jessie123 Posted August 11, 2007 Author #6 Share Posted August 11, 2007 Mmm... Can you get wine through room service? That would work :-) I emailed about the bar set-up so let's see what happens. Jess
garycarla Posted August 12, 2007 #7 Share Posted August 12, 2007 Not sure why this got moved to the PORTS OF CALL section, but.... I think I had read somewhere along the line that NCL was not allowing gifts to be delivered to the ship by outside vendors - like wine, etc. You either order from the pre packaged list, or order off their wine list-room service.
