checking your bill

I can't recall - does Princess allow you to keep tabs on your balance via the TV screen (like you can do on Celebrity cruises)? There seem to be a number of comments lately from cruisers who found "extra" charges on their final bill. We're on the Crown in a couple of weeks, and I am hoping that it is fairly easy to keep track by doing a periodic check (hopefully on the TV screen), and get corrections made, during the cruise.

I was recently on the Crown. I did not hear anything about being able to view your bill on the tv screen but you can ask at the Purser's desk for a copy of your bill anytime you like. There are hardly any lines during the cruise and it only takes a moment.

No. Not on the TV (HAL doesn't either.) But it's very easy to just go to the Pursar's Desk and ask for a printout. I usually go after a few days on the cruise and again, two days before disembarkation.

No, you can't see it via the TV, and it only works to get it from the front desk IF their computer is working. We left the Sea Princess yesterday and have no idea what our total bill is and they couldn't tell us either.
