Christmas on Disney

Can anyone tell a bit more about Christmas on board a Disney cruise? We're booked actually for the week before. The pictures look great - but do they actually decorate the whole ship, or just the main central area? Does anyone know if they have special Christmas activities for kids? We're thrilled about the travel option, but will be missing some of the Christmas preparations at home which are my favorite part of the season. Any input appreciated.

We were on the Disney Wonder last November and the ship was already decorated. The Xmas tree was up in the atrium, holly and bows everywhere. It was beautiful. Hopefully someone else will be able to give you the activity info.

Have a great trip. You will love it.

We were on the wonder in the beginning of Dec. and thought the decorations were great. It was very beautiful all over the ship and even the characters were dressed for the holidays. Disney also decorated Castaway Cay!!! There is nothing like chrismas pictures in front of a snowy tree in the carribbean! There are some children's activities planned throughtout the week! Have a great time. We will be on for Halloween this year so I hope we are as impressed as we were for christmas!
