Valor vs. Freedom

There are two cruises in December that I looked at, one is on the Valor, the other is on the Freedom. I have been on the Valor and loved it, but I know the Freedom is newer. The Freedom is more exp, I was just wondering if you guys thought the Freedom was a better ship and could give me some info. Thanks!

Other than the decor and the Seaside Theater the ships are the same. What are the ports?

Almost identical. One goes to San Juan PR, the other to Nassau. Other than that they are the same. Seems like Carnival should put one of those Jumbo-trons on the Valor like the Liberty and the Freedom have.

The ones I was looking at sail 15 and 16 December. But I am am more concerned about the ship difference.

I had the same question and ended up booking the Valor just a few hour ago. It came down to getting a super good deal on a balcony cabin that could not be beat. The Freedom rate was much more and since it seems that there isn't much difference other than the outdoor screen and one port, why not save some money and save it for my trip?

I would also go for the deal. I don't care for the big screen. But, if that is something you'd like and she is new. But, I'd still go for the deal.

I was going back and forth between the Valor and Freedom and I just booked the Valor earlier tonight. I got a rate on a balcony cabin that could not be beat and the Freedom rates were way more and were not even close to what I found for the Freedom.

 

So I looked at it thinking there are not many differences and I saved money that I can use for my trip.

Do any of these ships have slides for the kids?

yes valor has a slide, freedom has a flow rider, & h20 kids water park.
