isleschick3 Posted September 17, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted September 17, 2007 I read that there can be somewhat of an obstructed view with these cabins since they are indented and they are above the life boats.
serene56 Posted September 18, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 18, 2007 I read that there can be somewhat of an obstructed view with these cabins since they are indented and they are above the life boats. life boats are on deck 4. - 2 decks below you. You might not be able to look stright down into the waters but most people are sitting on the balcony looking out..not down. And your view towards the back--- is obstructed where you cant look stright back---again it really doesnt matter. Your balcony is gonna be super. cuyahoga11 Posted September 18, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 18, 2007 Serene I wanted 6232 but it is unavailable. Do you know about 6234?
CrusinAgain Posted September 20, 2007 #6 Share Posted September 20, 2007 Get a cabin that is on the bump out and not bump in. The view blocking does matter and gets aggravating along with the lifeboats right under instead of seeing the water. We had the bump in right next to the bump out and we had the lovely extended balcony (not). I will never get a bump in again with lifeboats as my view instead of the water straight down. serene56 Posted September 20, 2007 #7 Share Posted September 20, 2007 Where are you seeing that the cabin is not available?? 6232 sleeps 4 people. 6234 is a handicapped cabin-- no sofa and you take the chance of being moved. check and see if 7258 or 8232 is available. a 7A 5236 is also an awesome balcony. Depending on when you are looking to cruise-- these cabins listed above are ones of the first to get booked out as soon as pricing comes available
