Bannister Island Snorkeling

While I have gleaned from this board that there is not much in the way of good shore snorkeling on the island itself, I was wondering if there were any boat tours leaving from Bannister for an hour or two of snorkeling.

 

My wife and I liked the convenience of being tendered right from the ship to the island (we have two young kids- sounds like a nice place for them). I was hoping to combine this, though, with some snorkeling.

 

Any feedback on availability/pricing would be appreciated!

We are looking at this excursion also. From what I can tell, you have to go with a private tour operator to get the snorkeling included.

Coral Breeze has an excursion for $60, which includes manatee watching, bannister island, and snorkeling off bannister.
