Anyone stay recently at Hyatt Pier 66-FLL?

I booked yesterday for 1 day pre-cruise for next month. I just looked at TripAdvisor and am now wondering if I did the right thing. I understand that they are undegoing renovations right now but the reviews were not good to include additional fees for resort, fridge, etc. Anyone have any info? Thanks!

I just called the hotel directly and spoke with in-house reservations. He said that there is no charge to use the fridge, they have done away with the resort fee and there is a charge for parking only if you have a car (it is not automatically added to your bill as I had read on TA). I'm going to stick with the reservation and am looking forward to my first cruise :D

I stayed there over the fourth of July. It was wonderful. It did have construction going on, no problem, they are decorating the lobby area.

I just returned from there this morning, had a poolside meeting with some business associates, hotel looks better then it ever has. ;)
