Juneau arrival - scheduling excursion

I would like some thoughts on this...My ship is scheduled to arrive in Juneau at 8am. One of the excurions I'd like to book (ahead of time from Celebrity's website) starts at 8am. Would it be wise to book this? What if the ship arrives late?

Thanks for the reply, Budget Queen. I've decided to bag that first excursion anyway due to advice received in another thread. But it's nice to know that it would probably have been alright anyway. It seems like most ships are in port before the scheduled time anyway unless there were problems (at least that's the way it was on my first cruise).
