Sail Aways ....

Good Afternoon Everyone! Quick question about sail aways. In the past we have always had a balcony but for our upcoming cruise on the Crown in January we took an inside room. Does anyone have any suggestions on a place to have a mid afternoon snack and a cocktail for the sailaways? We enjoyed being able to do so in the past on our balcony but just thought I would check here and see if anyone had any good ideas! TIA :)

I would say the aft deck outside the Horizon Court and near the Terrace pool. :)

Heck, even when we have a balcony we always end up at the aft bar for sailaway. Watching the ship pull away from port and the "real world" shrink into the horizon - there is no better way to start a cruise.

When & Where are you sailing from/to?

 

We will be leaving Jan 25th and are going to Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, Tortola, and St. Thomas. We did the opposite itineray last January and recently decided to try this route. ;)

 

As for the terrace pool area ... that will work out great as we are on the Riviera deck so it will be just down the hall! Thanks for the suggestion!

 

Don't know what I would do without all the useful info I have picked up here! :D

we love to go to the sail away bbq & music party on the deck , usus where its all happening and fun!..

One thing I miss at sailaway is the steel drum band playing the "love boat" theme - they don't do it anymore.

Tradewinds Bar is the spot for me . It was there I met my new best freinds for the next 7 days. And try the BBC isn't like a chocolate milkshake with a kick. Watch out , they pack around 600 cal. :)
