Nassau time difference ?

I'm trying to make plans for shore excurisions on our own and I hear there is a one hour time difference.Is this true?

I read on a website that they are Atlantic Standard Time, and that they do not observe Daylight Savings Time. Since reading this info., I was on a site that listed their current time and it was the same time as mine which is Eastern. Hopefully someone can clear up the confusion.

Yin Yang is correct. Since we are now observing daylight saving time and Nassau doesn't, their time will be the same as EDT. Of course, when we go back to standard time in the fall, there will be a 1 hour time difference between AST and EST

Hi ...

I dunno where these kinds of destructive rumours get started!

The only island I know on Atlantic time is mebbe Newfoundland ... quite a bit to our north!

Last I checked I'm living in the Eastern Time Zone ... and swing with the Daylight thing.
