brilliance overhang

We just got off the Jewel and there is an overhang over the lifeboats on deck 6.However we were in cabin 1570 JS on deck 10 and there was an overhang above us, although not really objectional. You could still get sun up until about 11am, then you got plenty of shade. It does add to the privacy of the balcony, because decks 11 and 12 cannot see under the overhang. However we could not see directly down past the overhang which covers the lifeboats, but again, from decks 8-10 I wouldn't think that would be a problem because the angle is not bad and only cuts off maybe 20 feet directly under the overhang ( on deck 6).
