Parking at Tampa's Cruise Terminal.....

I found this information on the Tampa Port Authority web page this morning:

 

Other characteristics of the Port’s cruise terminals include customer-friendly information areas, superior security, full passenger amenities and on-terminal parking, at just $12 per day. Valet services are also available. Close proximity to the interstate highway system adds to the overall convenience of cruising from Tampa.

 

Has anyone cruised out of Tampa recently, and if so, can you confirm the $12 per day parking charge??

We cruised from Tampa in Sept. We had friends drop us at the port since we live 30 miles south of the port. But, yes, the cost of parking is $12 a day. The garage is directly across the street from the terminal. There is also a shopping area right where the ship docks in addition to the Florida Aquarium being there too.

That's exactly what I needed to know. We have a room at the Sheraton Riverwalk and they charge $16 valet parking per day, so I think it will just be more convenient if we park at the pier. Thanks so much for posting your reply!!!:D

FYI - Payment is in advance at the Tampa cruise terminal.

 

So, when you drop your bags and the rest of your party at the ship, be dure to bring your credit card with you to the parking garage.

I've parked there before, but had heard that they were now charging $16 per day to park....VERY glad to know it's still only $12!!! Thanks again!!:D
