Reservations, Cruise Lines or Travel Agency?

I was just wondering what the best way to make a reservation for a RCC cruise. Would calling the cruise lines directly be your best bet or using one of the discount cruise sites that are all over the internet?

Not sure why you posted this question on this board but since you asked.......

 

The advantage of a TA is two-fold. If you haven't cruised much before they can give you advice about your selection of cruise lines, cruise ships and itineraries. And, many times they will give you some perks for booking with them whether it be some credits to be used on the ship or some other amenity.
