so you were looking North? did you see Port Everglades/cruiseships, or is that south? I was wondering if you look south its over 17th street, I was wondering what the view is,

I just booked a water way view for 10/4 at $159.00 on the Hilton website :D

flooded?? Wow was the water from the inland are up that high or did something happen inside the hotel? What floor/price did you get ?

 

I don't know...the message just said the rooms were flooded, we were on a high floor facing the port for $249 (good for this time of year).

We stayed there Jan 14th. The view from the 14th floor (top floor) facing the cruise terminal was disappointing. Nice view of the highway bridge (17th st., I guess) and dumpsters full of garbage, cargo containers, and junk. Maybe it'll be cleaned up when construction is finished, but it is far from finished now.
