Knocking on cabin door & running

Recommended Posts

DH and I were on Mariner we put the do not disturb sign on the door when we came at night, I could hear shuffling at the door and went to check and the sign was gone. The next morning I asked our housekeeper and she said a few other cabins next to us had their taken that night. She just gave us another one. That is really the only time we have ever had a problem. It was really no big deal.

I would suppose that kids knocking AND running down the hall is better than a drunk person knocking on your door wanting to get in thinking it is his cabin:eek: .....and yes, this happened to us......and I did not open the door

I am so sorry! Was that you?

We were on the Crown Princess last August, and some kids were turning the "do not disturb" signs around to the other side, and yes, the cabin steward did walk in on us.

He knocked once, then used his key to come in. I had the second lock locked, but he was still able to get in. I got to the door just as he opened it and stopped him from coming in any further. Luckily, I was in my PJs, and my DH was in the shower.
