Talkeetna has camping areas... an interesting little town you'll likely wish to visit anyway? We chose to overnight on public lands between Talkeetna and Denali since we wanted to be closer to Denali the next morning. If you don't have the Milepost, consider purchasing (or borrowing from your library) one for your trip. It is an invaluable guide if you plan to spend much time RVing.:)

Beyer's Lake Alaska State Park was a convenient stop for me. I also stayed at Eagle River Alaska State Park, great for day tripping Palmer/Anchorage.

 

Got to watch what time of year with Byers Lake because it has a habit ofclosing later in the summer because of the fish and where there is fish there are bears. Even if they don't close it, they will post that there is bear activity.

 

The Nancy Lake Recreation Area has some great spots too. It's just this side of Willow.
