Loves Snorkeling Posted February 8, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2008 I'm a big cheesecake fanatic. I also love anything chocolate. Are there any good desserts on the AOS, including Portifino's? If you can remember, on which night did you have it? by the way, were can we get the free ice cream on this ship? Thanks:D
JJ2sail Posted February 8, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2008 The warm chocolate cake is the best! There are soft serve ice cream and yogurt machines in the Windjammer buffet. Also the Mud Pie in Chops.
Silvery Seas Cruiser Posted February 8, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2008 Royal Caribbean ships have pretty much the same desserts. On the Brilliance cruise we just completed there was a good chocolate cheesecake. There was a sugarless chocoalte mousse. There was divine chocolate creme brule, just fabulous. Portofino has a heavenly tiramisu that is served in an edible chocolate cup. We were on an eleven-night cruise, so I don't know if you will have all these different desserts. Portofino always has the tiramisu every night.
JSeals4316 Posted February 8, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 8, 2008 Just off AOS, Portifinos food was the best. They have a sampler plate with a little of all the desserts which was very good and I also had the tiramisu. Portifinos this time had the best food I have had at any of the pay restaurants on any of several lines. The fillet was also excellent.
