Island time / Cruise ship time

Greetings - I am attempting to schedule a day sail in St Marten on 4/23.

I am on the Caribbean Princess which departs the island at 5 pm.

The excursion lasts until 4pm and I would then need to take a 15 minute taxi ride back to the ship.

If my math is correct that leaves a 45 minute buffer time, correct?

The ship is on the same time as the island, correct?

Thanks in advance,

John

Ship's time and island time should be the same during Daylight Saving Time, which begins March 8th this year.

But if the ship sails at 5:00, I suspect that they would want you back on board by 4:30, which cuts your buffer time to 15 minutes.

That said, I can't think of a daysail that would be a 15 minute taxi ride from the cruise facility. I would think it would be (much) less or (much) more time than that.
