webgal318 Posted February 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2008 Booked on the Med Cruise Sailing from Barcelona September 13. I am not too fond of Inside staterooms. How does the Inside Prom. compare to regular inside cabin? Are they dark all the time? Do you like it? How much smaller are they than ocean view cabins? Going solo so I am trying to save $$ plus I will be in port so much that I don't think I will miss the balcony this time. Looking forward to your feedback. Thanks Sylvia
serene56 Posted February 21, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2008 http://cruiseclues.com/shipstips/voyageroftheseas.htm Promanade cabins have a huge glass window that overlooks the promanade. The glass is think and soundproof. Uou are smack dab in the middle-- good place to be too. promanade abins are 167 sq feet. a large oceanview cabin ois 211 sq feet= im sure there will be a huge price difference. if you go to the above site you can see various photos of the voyager. Go to www.webshots.com and in the search look for Promanade cabin that will show you what the rooms look like. See the glass panels at the top=== this is where your cabin will be located.. the glass slants out for easy viewing. the windows do not open. webgal318 Posted February 21, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted February 21, 2008 Wow! I can live with that! Every time that I have been on the voyager class, one of my favorite spots was the Royal Promenade, sipping coffee and watching people go by. It looks like my cabin will be a nice spot to relax and watch the view from a different perspective. Thanks Sylvia
