paul5689 Posted February 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2008 My wife and friends are going on AOS March 23rd. My wife had major back surgery in December. She can walk but very slowly. Does anyone know if RCI provide any kind of service in ports, from ship to shopping areas. I know that some of the shopping areas are only a couple of hundred yards or so, but riding or being pushed ina wheel chair would be great. (Other than taking a cab!) I know there are companies that contract with or work with RCCL and you might want to get on the phone with RCCL and find out your options. They do not provide assistance at ports other than disemarktation. At that time they will provide assistance getting off the ship if you have a cane, crutches, wheelchair etc. This is due to the crowds and people pushing and trying to get off first....you know how it is. gerif Posted February 26, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 26, 2008 Since it's probably too late to snag an accessible cabin, renting a portable wheelchair that can be folded to go through the cabin doorway is probably your best option.
