jerwick Posted September 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2004 Just reading "The Cruise Critic" home page today with the booze policies of various lines. When looking at Princess, Cruise Critic says you can't bring on wine etc at port of embarkation. Is this new today?? Seems contradictory to previous posts and Princess printed policy. What gives? vince_g Posted September 24, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2004 I think someone goofed. I just got pre-cruise documents yesterday and the cruise answer book and Princess's website both state you can bring wine/champagne for special occasions. It doesn't say you can't bring it on at embarkation. Personally I plan on going to the liquor store on 17th street and stocking up on champagne and wine, and then bringing it with me! Why pay the Princess cellars price? The liquors don't seem to be all that expensive but their markup on wine seems like it's high. Vince
