Why not before drydock? They don't bother fixing anything?

 

That is what has been said on these boards. I have never been on a last pre-dry dock cruise, but I would tend to believe it, especially if major work was to be done in the dry dock.

Because they prep for the drydock during the cruise.I saw ceiling tiles being removed,wall panels being opened and even areas of the ship being closed.They closed the lido deck the last night of the cruise around 7pm.They blocked off certian hallways and closed the pizza early also.

I 'm going to keep my eye on the schedules... of all my cruises... I never thought about them not "pre-scheduling them" before they posted the schedule... but I know I once aw where Conquest was due for dry-dock late August/ early Sept this year and then cruises began to appear on the schedule, as if they rescheduled it... Hummmmm, maybe I'll check in with my PVP!!

I just spoke with my PVP and they told me that 10/3 is the first sailing after the drydock.You might need a new sailing date.

Hello All! I just got off the phone with my PVP. We have rebooked for October 10, 2009. As I type this, he is working with a supervisor to get us the original booking price of $719 /pp. I have requested that he e-mail me a copy of the updated booking asap so that I can verify everthing is as it should be. Looks like Carnival will do the right thing, I'm satisfied.:)

Well thats is great news...I hope to hear the same, unfortunatly my agent only works the week days so I'm sitting here nervously waiting for Monday... its rare when I spend a weekend hoping it goes by quickly.
