Q about reduction in rates/shipboard credit

Recommended Posts

Ok I read awhile ago that you can call your TA and see about getting the fare reduced and how several got on board credit. Do i have to check somewhere first that the rate went down? Do I just call my TA and ask her to call carnival?? Do i say anything specific, and i leave in 10 days is it too late to call and see???

Thanks!!

Its never too late. THe worse they can say is no.

BUt you should have been checking the webpage for Carnival all along. Check for your sailing. When you see the price has come down you call your agent to let her know the price did come down. But not all agents give this discount. I learned that on my Victory cruise. Now I ask agents when I am booking if they give price cuts AFTER final payment.

Going NOWHERE
