almtyrob Posted March 10, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2008 Has anyone had the pleasure of booking a Vista Suite on Regatta? I am considering it & would love some insider info on the accomodations/perks. Brochure info is a bit limited. Thanks.
daquri Posted March 10, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2008 We have been in a VS on the Insignia. Since the ships are identical perhaps I can help. We were on a med cruise in 7005 and loved it! Was not disturbed by the anchor lowering, vibrations or heavy winds. Our butler did as much or as little as we needed and did it quickly and efficiently. Never hovered over us or intruded on us. Loved the priority reservations in the Polo Grill & Toscana. Used the in room laptop every day (a bit slow but we were in no hurry). Especially liked the big round window by the writing/computer desk. Lots of natural light. Beds can be configured as queen or twins & we found them very comfortable. Not sure what else you might want to know, but please ask!
orchestrapal Posted March 10, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 10, 2008 The VS are wonderful if you get one on the 7th deck as the ones on 6 get all the noise from the lounge below. The band practices every afternoon for several hours and of course you get it every night. That being said the suites are great except in high seas when they become pretty unstable. We loved ours and would do it again but only on deck 7. Enjoy!:)

Enjoy!:) Perhaps my hearing is not as acute but the noises (vibrations, more accurately) from the showroom below 6002 were not a problem. We also had high seas (11/07 Regatta) and I, for one, prefer to see the waves coming. Pretty exciting.
