FamilyCruiserz04 Posted May 9, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2004 Does anyone know if the pursurer's desk will cash travelers checks on board? We were thinking instead of carrying so much cash with us to just cash a travelers check before going into port each day. Although I like the casino idea as a back up plan. CaptData Posted May 10, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 10, 2004 Yes. I always use Traveller's Checks. I keep them in both US and Canadian funds. If I run out of US funds I switch to the Canadian ones with no trouble just the price that day plus the usually fees. I put them down as a credit on the ship too. I end up with a 0 balance that way.
