LA Repo Boarding Time....need a guess

The Star normally leaves LA at 4PM for it's Mexico cruise from LA and says it embarks at noon. We are on the repo which leaves at 6PM but says embarkation (checkin anyway) begins at noon. Do you think we will really be able to board at noon and have 6 hours onboard before sail-away or do you think we may not board until 2PM and have the normal 4 hours before we sail?

Oh the silly things that occupy us before cruises!:D Actually I'm curious because our flight gets in around noon and I'd like to know how soon I can get from the plane to the ship:rolleyes:

Last year we flew in the day of the cruise, and arrived at the terminal by 11:15. We checked in quickly, and boarding started a bit before noon. The rooms weren't ready until about 2:30, so we just wandered the ship until then. So,I would guess, boarding should be underway by the time you get there :)
