Tuscany by Taxi

Tried using the search feature, but it's still unavailable. Has anyone used 'Tuscany by Taxi' for their Florence and Pisa tour? Their rates seem quite reasonable and they pick you up at the port and return you to the port. The driver is also at your disposal and will take you where ever you wish to go for the whole day.

After much research I selected Tuscany by Taxi for our party. Like you we found them to be very reasonable priced. Here are two threads with various references

we used him when we were cruised oct 2006.. he was on time , very helpful... parked close to all got us right in the see David... , parked close to all the shopping so we could drop off bag and come and go as we please never worried about leaving anything .. he was with the vehicle at all times... we felt safe with him.. had a wonderful lunch at a place called PAULIE omg the best food...kept us infoed of time...on the way back to ship we stoppped at Pisa .. the best day ... i would book him again in a heart beat

Did they reserve tickets for you to see David and did you have to wait in line? Also, when you booked with them, did you need to give a deposit or credit card number? Thanks in advance.

We used them in september '06 and they were great. Will do any itinerary you want. Very responsive and helpful with the planning. Told him we were interested in a wine tasting and he arranged for a private tasting.

 

Driver was waiting when we got off the ship as expected. It is amazing how close to the sights your driver can get you. No wasted time figuring where to go. Another bonus is having a safe place to store any purchases you make along the way.

 

We have them booked for our '08 cruise too!

My husband and I booked them for our April 11th cruise on the Legend of The Seas. I will let you know. So far, there correspondance with us has been great! I am looking forward to their tour.:D

no credit card needed to reserve... you give him the money at DAvid he goes and purchases and you get right in.. no line...
