Count down to Cruise Questions?

We are getting ready to go on our first cruise since our son was born, he is now 3, we have both cruised Carnival when we were younger.

 

Love Holland America and Royal Carribean, but chose carnival this time as we heard it had a better kids program etc.

 

So how is Camp Carnival? How dressy is formal night?

 

Any advise for cruising with small childern helpful.
