crossing the Pacific

We are sailing on Radiance on May 13th from Honolulu to Vancouver . . . Does anyone know what kind of weather we can expect on the sea days crossing the Pacific?

You can go to weather.com, however no one can see into the future. The weather might be wonderful one week and horrible the next.

We sailed the Pacific from San Diego to Hawaii and back approximately the same date as you two years ago. The sea was smooth, the weather was warm and fantastic!!

We have done the Pacific three different times.....starting in 2001. Every crossing we have completed.....for the most part......was smooth. That being said.........we did encounter a typhoon in the Sea of Japan, and when we were thru it.........well.......it was an experience.

 

You won't experience that on you Pacific crossing. You could have a bit of swell........or absolute calm!!

I won't go into it but to say yes it can get rough out there. I sailed in the month of June and there were a few bad days. Just be prepared with a remedy for your stomach.
