Sydney - Bangkok, 2/08

We are scheduled for the 2009 cruise. Would those who took the 2008 cruise post a review? We are eager to learn the details. Thanks.

This is not a total review, which I will do later and cannot right this moment due to time, but all I can say is FAABULOUS!!! We went to Sydney about 3 days pre, stayed at the Four Seasons, had a beautiful view of the Opera House, and found the hotel to be lovely. Had we had a choice at the time, we would have taken the Shangri La. It is available on the 2009 trip, I believe. To the Captain Cook Harbour cruise, which is a must-do.

 

Every port was super. We had been to Komodo, Semarang, & Singapore many years ago, but that certainly did not matter. They were still enjoyable.

 

Loved the Australian ports. The Aussies are great. Loved Ko Samui. Loved that we docked right in town in Bangkok (altho quite polluted). Stayed at the Shangri La in Bangkok. Beautiful hotel.
