Hyatt or Marriott in Tampa?

Has anyone stayed at either of these properties in Tampa pre-cruise?? Do any of them have shuttles to or from the airport or port?

if it is the downtown waterside marriott in tampa, it is LOVELY....no airport shuttle.....and no port shuttle. you COULD wak...but i wouldn't! cab shouldn't be more than 10 bucks....it's only a couple blocks!

We just stayed at the Marriott Waterside before our April 20 Legend cruise.

 

HIGHLY recommend the hotel. Great location, very nice hotel and if you have a water view room and are an early riser, you can watch the Legend come into port Sunday morning at around 5:45.

 

It was very easy to get a cab to the cruise terminal for embarkation, they are lined up outside the front door and it is maybe a mile ride. Our cabbie said no charge, "just tip". We gave him $10 and were on our way!
