Rome Accomadations Run By Nuns

Recommended Posts

There was a great thread on here about convent run accomodations in Rome a couple weeks ago, but search is not working for me today. If you scroll backward through the pages here you are sure to find it.

Although we have never stayed in any personally here is a link that I bookmarked for future reference: http://www.transitionsabroad.com/publications/magazine/0003/convent_stays_in_rome.shtml

This is the site I used. There are others, but I liked the looks of Domus Aurelia on this one.

I wanted to be near the Vatican as I missed seeing it in '98 due to hot temps, so wanted to be sure and see it this time. We were just walked out and heated up and when I looked on the map and saw it was on the other side of town across the river, told my husband I couldn't make it.

Hop on/Hop off bus stops at the Vatican, plan to board there and ride around to the other sites rather than trying to walk it all. And rates of 72 & 95 EURO fit my pocketbook too.
