travel12 Posted May 18, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2008 Hello: I read in The Toronto Star this morning that Celebrity ships permit topless sunbathing in designated areas of their ships. I had never heard of this before. Is this true for all the ships, or just certain ones? And is this permitted just for Mediterraean cruises or for the Caribbean as well?Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks,

jackdiamond Posted May 18, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2008 All of the M class ships offer this, but only if you are young and nubile.
NorCalCruiseGuy Posted May 18, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 18, 2008 The top-most deck is available for sunbathing. The railings are covered with canvas, and there is a sign at the bottome of the stairs leading to this deck. It is available on selected sailings. Iggipolka Posted May 18, 2008 #5 Share Posted May 18, 2008 Deck 14 on the Mercury had a sign at the bottom of the stairs that Topless Sunbathing was allowed. We were on an Alaskan cruise, so there wasn't any topless sunbathing happening. Unless you count people who didn't have hats on their heads!
