Boarding a late departure cruise on Crown Princess

Recommended Posts

Our ship (the Crown Princess) has a check-in time of 13:00 - 19:00 on June 19th with the sailing time of 20:00. But, according to the CMP's port manifest, the Crown Princess is to arrive in port from Oslo at 17:00 and sailing time of 21:00.

Based on this information, what would the recommended time for boarding? It seems that there must be a long wait if we checkin before 18:00.

They usually want you checked in at least 1 hr prior to sailing.

So I would go by what your documents tell you.

The port information could be wrong.

I would not want to show up at 20:00 to wave goodbye as she sails away with you at the dock

The port website shows the CP arriving at 5 am from OSLO not 17:00 (5 PM)

I am not sure what you are getting at ...by the time you board, get settled in and do the lifeboat drill you will be sailing away
