lchen818 Posted June 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2008 Our ship (the Crown Princess) has a check-in time of 13:00 - 19:00 on June 19th with the sailing time of 20:00. But, according to the CMP's port manifest, the Crown Princess is to arrive in port from Oslo at 17:00 and sailing time of 21:00. Based on this information, what would the recommended time for boarding? It seems that there must be a long wait if we checkin before 18:00. Rare LHT28 Posted June 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2008 They usually want you checked in at least 1 hr prior to sailing. So I would go by what your documents tell you. The port information could be wrong. I would not want to show up at 20:00 to wave goodbye as she sails away with you at the dock The port website shows the CP arriving at 5 am from OSLO not 17:00 (5 PM) I am not sure what you are getting at ...by the time you board, get settled in and do the lifeboat drill you will be sailing away
lchen818 Posted June 3, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted June 3, 2008 Thanks LHT. You were right. I mis-read the ship's arrival time and that was why I was a little confused.
