lpglarry Posted October 11, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 11, 2004 Hey people we are going to be cruiseing 10/23/04 on glory, do you people know what ports they have tenders,or what ports they pull into port.thanks Larry
bombero Posted October 11, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 11, 2004 You will probably have to tender in Key West as the Glory may be too big to dock there.. You tender in Belize and Grand Cayman also.. But be advised that if the limited dock space is taken in any port, tendering is the only alternative... Tendering is not a problem and usually works very smoothly.. punknhead Posted October 11, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 11, 2004 No tendering in Key West. We did in Belize, but were at the pier in Progreso and Cozumel. May depend on how many ships are at the peir? Punk

In fact, I posted a long review on this very board. :p http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=86228&highlight=Glory+Review

Grand Cayman is devastated, won't open AT LEAST until November and in the opinion of many Carnival employees last week, not until next year.:(
neverenufcruising Posted October 12, 2004 #7 Share Posted October 12, 2004 Also when you dock in Progesso, the pier is about 6-7 miles long so you can't just walk into town. There are shops right on the pier as you get off the ship. You can get a rent a car or get a taxi right at the dock as well.
