Rare ghgeckos Posted October 12, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2004 We would like to stay on Tortola. What is the best beach with bathrooms, and kid friendy swimming/ snorkling area. Shade or beach umbrella rental would be great too. i know I'm asking for a lot. Any info would be great.

swoosh2005 Posted October 21, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 21, 2004 In January we went to Cane Garden Bay. (having been there years ago) I have heard on some of the boards, however that there may be an e. coli problem there from too many yachts anchoring out there. It was very crowded as there were 3 ships in port. Another couple we cruised with went to Brewer's Bay and they said it was not crowded at all and that it was very nice. I would recommend, however, if you've not been to the Baths in Virgin Gorda, to make that a priority excursion. It is, as far as I'm concerned, one of the wonders of the Caribbean. TrishnKevin Posted December 27, 2011 #5 Share Posted December 27, 2011 Without taking a tour is it difficult getting to the Baths? We really like to take our time and not do the tours.
